David Ellis is a results-oriented sales executive with over 20 years of experience building collaborative organizations that achieve great results while having fun.
David has worked across a variety of different roles and segments across his 14 years at LinkedIn. During this time, he’s developed a reputation for building sales organizations with strong cultural fundamentals that can scale to achieve impact. This includes starting LinkedIn’s first Nonprofit vertical, and his current role as the head of Healthcare Sales in North America. Since starting the healthcare vertical in 2021, David has grown the business to over 200M ARR, serving over 1,600 healthcare organizations across the provider landscape.
Prior to joining LinkedIn, David spent time in consulting as well as over seven years in sales at the Corporate Executive Board. David also has a BS in Economics from Centre College and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. David is also a founding member of the Top Percent Collective’s Life Sciences and Healthcare Cohort.
Outside of work, David also cares deeply about giving back to his community. He has been on the board of Reading Partners, a childhood literacy nonprofit, for over eight years. On the weekends, you can find David chasing his two young sons around the parks, playgrounds, and trails of Berkeley, California.
