Manager of Learning Consulting
Atlantic Union Bank
During her years with 84 Lumber, Sue Kasko has focused on expanding learning and development to include onboarding, role-specific development, compliance training, and leadership and professional development. Sue believes that experience is a critical element of developing both people and task skills and that scenario-based learning, on-the job learning, and guided practice can provide both experiences and a way to transfer skills to new contexts. Prior to joining 84 Lumber, she worked in a variety of talent, learning, and leadership development roles with Dick’s Sporting Goods, Development Dimensions International (DDI), and US Airways. Sue served as the chair of the ATD Forum Advisory Group in 2024 and has served as a facilitator for Forum labs, ATD23, and ATD24.
