Blended learning creates advantages for both the participant and program owner/administrator. The participant gains convenience and flexibility, while the program owner has more opportunities to collect evaluation data against more diverse forms of learning. However, the evaluation of the effectiveness of blended learning programs can be quite challenging due to the wide-ranging content and delivery formats. Explorance MTM has added advanced features in its technology suite to optimize how blended learning evaluations are collected from the learner and reported back to the organization. In doing so, the L&D team can drive robust collection of appropriate data from the learners (without creating survey fatigue) while ensuring that the L&D team can review, analyze, and act on the data, in real-time, to drive continuous improvement. This session will review the historical and current state of Blended learning and how new evaluation capabilities and strategies can be incorporated through technology. MTM’s Blended Learning Module will be demonstrated to help illustrate examples of how L&D can better measure, and drive improvements on, learning that happens in the flow of work.
