In our new ATD book Performance Feedback Strategies: Driving Successful Behavior Change, we share that more than 50 percent of leaders lack accurate insight about their personality, skills, and abilities, possibly hindering their career growth and development (Identity). Knowing how others experience and perceive our signature strengths and development areas (Reputation) is key to self-development and career success. In this session, we present a summary of new career paradigms and discuss specific strategies for soliciting and accepting feedback to successfully navigate one’s career in today’s changing times.
