Video is increasingly a key tool for use in asynchronous video classes. However, it’s not always effective, nor is it always the right tool to help students. In this session, the presenter will explain key steps for making video content, discuss how it supports learning drawing on cognitive principles, demonstrate the process of filming and editing short lectures, and show you how he uses videos both in his lectures at George Washington University and corporate training. This session is relevant to faculty and staff working at colleges and universities.
